My Goldilocks Story

Good morning my fellow bloggers,

we are trying to change a story from 3rd person to 1st person. we had to

  1. Brainstrom a fairytale from a partiualar characters point of view eg.
  2. Make a note of the types of pronouns’ (I,we,me,my,our) you will need to use
  3. Add main events from your character view number in order (this will be the order/ sequence you write story in)
  4. Try writing first paraghraph- Here is my exaple

First paragraph

Once upon a time, a girl was lost in the woods. A girl who was only 12 years old, her name was Goldilocks, was stumbling through the woods. In search of a warm location to spend the night, she was browsing around. All of a sudden she noticed a small home in the woods; she snuck up to it, but no one was there. She went to see if the door or whatever else was open to enter the house. The door then opened as Goldilocks did so then she went inside the house where there was 3 bowls of hot porridge sitting on the table with no one home to eat the porridge

Middle

Goldilocks went upstairs to the room with 3 beds 1 bed was very big it was mummy  bears bed it wa nice and soft with a cozy blanket and pillow. Then she saw another bed that was like a race car so goldilocks run over to the bed and she jumped on it and she played on it. BUT THEN SHE SAW THE BIGGEST BED, it was daddy bears bed it was so big that it could fit 50 people on there, So again she run to the other bed and jumped and played on it and, all the beds were all messed up and dirty. Then goldilocks got hungry and went down stairs to the warm and yummy porridge. So she went to the smallest bowl that belonged to baby bear and she swallowed all of the porridge down in one go. So she went to the next 2 bowl of porridge and ate it all.

END

Then goldilocks got tired and full from all of the food and so she went upstairs to sleep in baby bears bed. Goldilocks had a pretty long nap Then she heard a voice down stairs  and it was the 3 bears so goldilocks got up as quick as she can and run out of the house and the 3 bears came back home mad.

Hello my bloggers

W.A.L.A angles that are complementry.  Two angle that adds up to 90 degrees are called a complementry angle . You have to put the protactor in the center of the diagram and measure it from the 90 degree  down wards like to 50 degree at the bottem of the diagram and 40 on top of the diagram.

Central Intercepter

Did you know that The Central Interceptor is a tunnel that takes waste water to the Mangere Sewage Plant?

The interceptor is as wide as 4 rhinos and as tall as 1 giraffe. It’s going to take 5 years to build the tunnel for the interceptor and it costs $1.2 billion dollars. The interceptor is named after one of the matariki stars Hiwa-i-te-rangi.

The tunnel is 14.7 km long going from mangere to tawariki street across auckland. The central interceptor is for wastewater and to prevent wastwater to go to the ocean and it is meters blow the sea level and the ground.

Creating graphs

Hello my bloggers

This week in kowhai we have been learing how to interpret data from graphs we have made. First we gathered information and noted it in our books. We practised creating a bar graph pie chart, and a tally chart.

When we put the information in to google sheets we did a quick test to gather a range of numbers. This was put into a sheet in a column and we created a scatter graph

Measureing angles

Kia ora Bloggers

We have been learning to measure angles using a protractor.

I walked into class last Monday and the teacher (who always growls us for drawing on tables) had taped them up. I wondered what is going on here?

Once she expelained the task which was to identify 6 different types of angles on our talbe we had to write the measurements of each angle we could find on the table including the 6 we had identified.

My next step is to learn and practise more about measuring angles. The thing I found hard was that we had to put the protracor on the stright line to measure the angles corectly.

My fun samoan pick-a-path

Good morning my frinds This week we attended the ako hiko student toolkits. We learnt how to create a Pick-a-path slideset. I found the pick-a-path sildes easy to do and the thing I found hard was getting the question right and chosing a range of fake answers.

Please play my pick-a-path and tell me in the comments if you like it and have a happy samoan languege week.
